Siskel & Ebert (1994)
Season 8, Episode 21
This episode of Siskel and Ebert has the Chicago critics reviewing the underrated thriller BLINK, the arthouse drama NAKED, the Nick Nolte film I'LL DO ANYTHING, Peter Bogdanovich's THE THING CALLED LOVE and BLUE. Fans of the series will obviously find a lot of entertainment to be had here even though there aren't any of the classic arguments between the critics. Of the five films reviewed I'd argue the most fascinating one was THE THING CALLED LOVE since they both have some interesting things to say about River Phoenix who of course died before the film was released. There's also a good Video Pick of the Week in KALIFORNIA.
