Double Date

I think I would have liked this film much more if I could have seen and heard it better. Throughout the movie, it was difficult to follow the action because virtually all scenes were dimly lit. Similarly, it was somewhat difficult to appreciate the dialog because the actors' voices were drowned out by ambient noise.

Promising premise, disappointing delivery. It starts well and hooks you in. Sadly, all the motivation to watch the film is lost after 20 mins. However, the viewer sticks to it while hoping it might get better. There was so much potential to be visually bonkers, it just falls flat. Michael Socha plays the most annoying and despicable lad. While not a bad film, Double Date is sadly forgettable. Special mention: the excellent soundtrack, Kelly Wenham kicks ass literally and Georgia Groome is full of charm.

A double date itself can be a nice thing. Unless you are going on a date with someone wicked I guess. So we do get an introduction to our two female co-leads and know what they are capable of. And then we get a sort of Joey-Chandler combo with our male main characters (from the TV Show "Friends", in case you don't know those names). And there is a lot of humor amongst the horror.

There are some decent effects and quite a few of the jokes are really good. Not everything works good enough though to make this a top dog contender though. We do have a certain path, that is predictable, but I wouldn't hold this too much against the movie. You know from the get go, where this is leading. What it does is almost holding that fine line between horror and comedy throughout. If that is your thing, enjoy

This is supposed to be a silly movie and silly it was indeed. I appreciated it not being a cookie cutter overdone type of movie and I actually came to like the characters and crazy scenes. I say give it a chance, It's not pass out from laughing funny but it will entertain you.

This is a British comedy horror with gory, brutal, bloody violence.

The protagonists are two sisters and two blokes who are long-time friends, one of them is almost 30 years old and still a virgin, the other is a very confident cocky guy.

The premise is an interesting idea where the girls are the villains. They are seen at the beginning brutally murdering two unsuspecting guys who they picked up and bring home for a 'good time!'

The objective for the girls is sacrifice 5 blokes (the last needs to be a virgin) to resurrect their dead father. The objective for the guys is go out, party, meet girls, and have sex before the birthday deadline.

The plot gets really crazy towards the end. Worth watching to see if the characters achieve their goals.
