"This season is not only about people fighting, but the reason we fight: for our loved ones." -Lisa Joy
Wow. What an episode.
Honestly, I thought this episode would be like episode five. Just filler to add suspense to the finale. Boy, was I wrong!
Everything about this episode was meaningful and helped aid this complex narrative of Westworld. It answered many questions in Season 1 and 2.
The story was also beautifully written. Pacing was perfect. I never felt bored in looking at my TV in an hour. It was also a very emotional episode. Something very rare for Westworld, a show so deep... its goal isn't to make you cry, but gasp at the twists.
And of course, the performances. What really opened my eyes was Zahn McClarnon's performance as Aketcha. GIve him an award for conveying such a character.
Overall, perfect episode. I am excited to witness the last two episodes of this season.

There have been gripping episodes, shocking episodes and episodes that have been a roller coaster.
This was the most stunning, beautifully written, directed and acted episode of both seasons.
The pathos of character is heartbreaking and the story within the story amazing.
I'm simply blown away.
After the "Riddle of the Sphinx" episode, I thought that peak Westworld was reached and - in my case - this was true. Then came this episode. At first it seemed to be a filler episode and I started to get frustrated. Man, was I wrong. Ake's journey - while heartbreaking and traumatizing - revealed what the awakening process really feels like. Just amazing. And the acting. Just great. Thank you for the episode.

Westworld tells the backstory of Akecheta and Ghost Nation as one of the most beautiful episode yet. It was such an amazing ride that goes on the storyline from both season 1 and 2 to explains more mysteries, and completes the multi-layer complications and meanings of the park. It is so good seeing Westworld not being puzzling but philosophical and profound once again. This episode was written meticulously artistic with memorable lines; editing was glamorous; the amazing soundtrack from Ramin Djawadi that comes into it with perfect timing, altogether making the episode highly impactful and emotional.
Zahn McClarnon should at least be nominated for his turn as Akecheta in this episode.
