I'm disappointed that it wasn't better. Overall it was confusing. I think I understand the ending but it's not clear. Good thing L is attractive to look at or I would have stopped watching.
There are some problems with the structure of the plot. Because of the way things unfold the impact is less than it should be. During the first half there is a groundhog day formula that usually is quite entertaining. This shorter drama applies it to a Korean melodrama involving a singer and his girlfriend. The initial comic elements of repeating are enjoyable enough as expected though not hilarious. Things get more serious when he tries to prevent his gf's death. Then it gets overwrought and Final Destination like. Kim Myung Soo is watchable but the director makes him overact in parts. She seems annoying at first but later you get her POV. Things are quite different. Could have been put together better.
Honestly, I didn't expect much from this drama. I thought it was going to be an extremely dramatic telling of a cliche story about a guy who repeats the same day. I didn't even like the female lead at first either, I honestly just cam to see Myungsoo's pretty face. However I was pleasantly surprised and caught off guard by some of the plot decisions. The female lead became the complex character I wanted her to be in a way I hadn't imagined it happening. For a short drama it turned out to be a really good watch, there were no useless episodes, and it had my feelings in a twist by the 3rd episode. ALSO if you don't like a bit of cliche romance in general, then don't watch it, its a drama for crying out loud, it will almost always be a little cliche or dramatic.
what it lacks: the acting in this drama wasn't PERFECT, but who really is you know? I would definitely say the acting was good, sometimes even great. and as for the script, there weren't any supper cringe worthy lines or anything, also there were some surprisingly funny moments from minor characters and our male lead.
There are some tiny details in the show that don't get fully addressed, but hardly enough to dissatisfy a viewer.
Honestly with a little bit of tweaking this could've been a 10/10 drama, but for now 8 thirty minute episodes isn't too risky of an investment to try out a decent show.

Well the rating I have given is 1 less than what I have given because of its messy and unexplained ending. This drama starts like a normal show then picks up the pace and have many great things about it , but it would been better if it was ended it without streaching the existing length by 2 episodes. Overall, below average.
I'm a big fan of Korean Dramas and I've watched most of the ones on netflix worth watching. I was a little hesitant to watch One More Time simply because it was so short in length, I thought there would be no time to fully get invested in these characters and really develop a connection with the show. Boy, was I wrong. I don't think I've cried this much watching a show since descendants of the sun, which says a lot since I bawled like a baby watching that show. So, if you're on the fence about watching it like I was, just take the plunge! It was 100% worth it :)
