    Sweet Dee Shines

    This episode was made for me by Sweet Dee, and the gag where she turns her charm on and off when the camera is on her for her social media feed. Kaitlin give a fantastic performance! And that worked really well as a send up of the performative nature of social media stars.

    For me, the sort of parable that the episode created about global warming didn't really play just because everything that the writing had to say about the subject was pretty well-worn territory. And the amount of space that the script devoted to that probably took away from more opportunities for humor.

    On the whole, the excellent performance from Kaitlin carried the episode to the extent that I would consider it a solid episode. It wasn't a great one. But it was good. But that Sweet Dee performance was so good that I wanted to write a review to call it out.

    I love this show!

    The "beefcakes" are back! This is definitely the funniest one of the season and it makes my top 5 episodes of the show!

    Deserves better than 8.1

    I am rating this 9/10 because IASIP occasionally still comes back to its old original creativity and it's a pretty solid follow-up to the noir crime parody from the previous episode. A season that started out pretty poorly might be getting back on track more than the last few seasons ever got close to.

    An entertaining and poignant Sunny ep in this otherwise a bit lackluster season

    All parts were great, Charlie and Dee were funny as were the bar scenes. Also at first I thought this global warming theme will quickly become overplayed but I must say they did a very thorough and interesting analogy with the bar scene and also Dee's and Charlie's adventures. The lacking resources, overpop., the plastic, water, the hypocricy of everyone involved, be it those in charge or those selling "solutions" for significally marked up prices, etc etc... there were a lot of little gems and methaphores, Im sure I did not even notice all. Would call for a repeated viewing. But all in all, i missed a really funny ep like this from Sunny this season, up till now they just havent been cutting it as usual. Nice one!

    Genius

    Perfectly captured the fatalism and faith hypocracies inside of the larger context of our global warming debacle. Hits on overpopulation, resource scarcity, pollution, eco-fashion, greed, and more!

    Of course hilariously.

    I hope some people learn something.

      Mac: Uh, that's correct. But it doesn't have to make sense, because that's where the faith comes in. Right? I have faith that what i'm saying makes sense.

      Dennis Reynolds: Okay, so even if it doesn't make sense, your faith makes it make sense.

      Mac: Correct.

      Dennis Reynolds: Got it! Okay, so there's no way to have a rational conversation with you.

      Mac: No.
