Jen Kirkman: Just Keep Livin?

If I could describe her humor, it is casual funny. Something the uptown girls, who work in the office would enjoy.

This won't be for everyone, and there are definitely better specials. It ain't awful though.

First off, lose the laugh track. Lost a star for that. Otherwise, she is fast on her feet and thinks of things we wish we had!!

I truly cannot put my finger on why I like her and I won't put it where she would like it.

That's all I'm sayin'.

I can't believe in this day and time of unwarranted, anonymous, internet opinions not one person has written a review of this comic gem. Jen is hilarious! The whole set kicked ass. The whole 'Matthew McConaughey/JKL?' bit, the pieces namesake, is priceless... Whoever said women aren't funny never saw Jen at work. I remember seeing her as a panelist on Chelsea and thinking she was funny but hell they were all funny. Its just hard to be showcased in that setting. If you like comedy and you like watching a strong comedian, I urge you to watch this Netflix special. If you don't like comedy... well, you've got to be miserable. You need to laugh more.

Is her gimmick that she just tells boring everyday stories without anh punchlines?

You can't mess with this hour of comedy. Everything Jen Kirkman has touched has been fantastic. Her books, her time on Chelsea lately, her stand up shows (I will review both of them pretty much the same) & her podcast are all gems. As for ''Just Keep Livin'" if you simply want to laugh for an hour straight, just watch this special. Her timing, her knack for insightful and introspective ways of looking at things & turning them into great stories is classic star comedy. I tried to review this on Netflix because it makes me a little bit annoyed that they haven't cleared her for a third hour long special but I agree with the other reviewer - how can no one have reviewed this yet? This is a comedic gem!
