Perfect Days

Dias Perfeitos is an intriguing series with an unsettling premise, but it doesn't fully deliver on its potential. The characters are far from charismatic, they don't captivate or inspire much connection, which makes it difficult to become emotionally invested in their journey. At times, the pacing feels unnecessarily slow, dragging the narrative when it could have been sharper and more engaging.

That said, the show still manages to hold your attention until the very end. Despite the lack of charm in the characters, the curiosity to see how the story would unfold kept me watching. The suspense builds just enough to make you want to know the outcome, even when the episodes feel stretched.

While the adaptation didn't completely win me over, it sparked my interest in reading the original book. I believe the source material might provide a deeper and more compelling experience than the series managed to convey on screen.

Well... I love the works of Raphael Montes, his books are incredible. The narratives are engaging and with good pace. But, this TV series is not that good.

Clarice from the books is a simpathetic character, Clarice from the TV show is a mess, couldn't like her for a minute. The same with Teo and Breno, both male characters are obnoxious over the top, they are too cartoonish.

In the books those characters were humans, with their flaws... but, beliavable human beings.

As a trend that happens far too common, seems is hard to adapted good books to series. A shame. Hopes part 2 (probably episodes 5 to 8) it can be better adapted.
