I am a tremendous fan of LoT! Love the cast, the stories, the vibe. #Avalance is very nearly an addiction for me and S3 is the beginning of the love story. But the episode is probably the worst. I can't remember a story this cringy, and the first season was BAD.
This is the first time I've seen it since it originally aired and it was as bad as I remembered.
I enjoyed the story and pacing except for the fact that everything about Elvis was historically incorrect and even his look in 1954/5 was way off. Maybe it's a copyright issue but it's was just all wrong.
Was this episode really a 10...no...But it was the best episode since ...this season started. I laughed...i cried a little. I enjoyed this episode even though there was no explanation for how the anacrahnism actually happened...nothing caused it and nothing ended it..but without poking holes it was a fun episode...But really this has got to be the last season..no rick and no firestorm plus lousy writing = cancelled!!
Seriously, are we just going to pretend that the 50es wasn't an ugly, racist time where Wally would not have been allowed into the church, let alone allowed to talk to and influence the preacher? I think by being liberal about this ugly past we are not paying respect to it... Just a thought I guess.
This show has so much potential like Timeless tv series this one just adds the superhero aspect. I agree racial tension seemed lacking but it was a church and not everyone was racist back then. I don't relate everything to our society and some hidden agenda. I like a good story with emotion and laughs and mystery and suspense etc. I think this show delivers that every week. Keep up the great work writers. I don't want to see my own society reflected in each episode I can see that on the news daily. This show and so many others are a respite from our stressful lives -- we don't want to add to it.
This episode was very enjoyable. don't miss it. Death totem, there is a death in this one. Love Jiwe, Mick, and Sara.
