Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Bono, Scarlett Johansson, Nick Kroll, Tori Kelly, and Taron Egerton in Sing 2 (2021)

Goofs

Sing 2

Edit

Continuity

The three white rabbits in the opening scenes have pink, purple, and green sunglasses. In the revealing shot for Rosita's character, two of them are wearing purple and one of them is wearing red. In the next shot, their glasses return to normal.
When Buster and his friends are running from Jimmy Crystal's thugs it's daytime, but when they enter the theater a few seconds after it's night.
During the finale, as Johnny does battle with Klaus Kickenklober, both are initially equipped with a pair of bo staffs. Johnny is clearly disarmed of one of his staffs, while Klaus visibly retains two. In the scene immediately after, Klaus only has one staff.

Factual errors

Actually when a father is parenting his kids it's called "parenting" and not "babysitting."

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

Johnny's dad and gang come to over protection services to Moon and the singers. Despite almost no time having passed since the first Sing movie, as evidenced by Rosita's children having not aged, the gang appear to have been released from prison. The gang were in for armed robbery and at least one case of escaping prison. The minimum terms for those charges would keep them in prison for years.

This is a fictional world with its own legal framework. Only the creators of this world know the correct degree of penalty for these crimes.

Miscellaneous

Big Daddy's pickup truck and Ms. Crawley's rental car have the exact same license plate number: DQF 8093.

Errors in geography

Johnny's dad jumps in his truck and gets to Johnny in moments. That same journey was shown to be an overnight bus journey for everyone else.

(Incorrectly regarded as a goof because whereas a bus would have to stop at multiple stations and waypoints to pick up & drop off passengers on the journey as well as follow a specific route while driving the speed limit, Johnny's dad and his pals can just take shortcuts and direct routes through roads and highways and potentially disregarding the speed limits in the interests of protecting Johnny and his group in an emergency. Plus they are mechanics, maybe the truck has had a faster more powerful engine installed.)
