    Arrow goes to court

While the idea of Arrow, a show that primarily focuses on action and not heavy-drama, a courtroom chapter seemed outlandish to say the least. Happy to report that the writers, once again, really put themselves out there and briskly made this episode a winner. The weighty lines and strong performances all around just elevated it even further, with Stephen Amell and Catherine Dent standing out amongst the already stellar cast appearances. Thankfully, the return of familiar faces also added twists to an already novel story. Katie Cassidy is also a worthy mention as her swaying loyalty was finally determined tonight as well as Diaz's (Kirk Acevedo) next move to break Oliver. "Docket No. 11-19-41-73 marks another hight-point for season six and moves the series into a challenging end-game.

    Great episode

*Spoiler free* Best episode this season (in my opinion) even thought there is not much action I loved the episode and loved the return of -----, I thought team arrow did very well and all worked together for once instead of allways fighting each other

What Has Happened To This Show.

As Arrow draws to a close in a few weeks, I can't help but find myself waiting for it to be over. Watching this show crumble week to week is difficult, especially considering where we left things off in Season 5. "Docket No. 11-19-41-73" proved to be about as bad of an episode as this season has provided. And it's mostly due to the fact that it is brutally hypocritical to all major story points set up this year.

Remember how last week Rene was giving us his best Dirty Harry impression sending Ollie all these bad thoughts and ignorance towards the bad things that we're happening? Well, that was completely thrown away this week as he's had an epiphany that he needed to help Ollie? Wait, what? There's no set-up to his turn of heart whatsoever, and it was laughable that the writers just glossed over a conflict that was driving the season for over 4 months of this show! Granted, Rick Gonzalez' performance when he sees Diaz in the courtroom is some of the best no-dialogue acting he's had on this show, but that character is at its absolute worst right now.

Speaking of great performances, Oliver's little monologue about his hope that his mission to save the city would have been over and he would have been able to live his life at this point, was a pivotal moment for him. And it certainly adds some weight to the pending court decision. That is, until Oliver gets let off and is exonerated of all charges with help from the Human Target. Yes, that's right, the show decided to crap on any emotional build up this season has had from the "identity crisis" by pulling an out of nowhere twist from a throwaway character that doesn't fit on the show at all. I cannot believe that this is the route the show decided to go in. Human Target has no place on this show and never has. But even if it wasn't him, it sure seems like the writers don't have the guts to give Ollie his "I am Iron Man" after all. And at this point, is it even worth it? Why go through the identity reveal not once, not twice, but 3 times if you're not going to have a worthy pay off. I was hoping the season would end with Oliver pulling off the hood in public but it seems like that's not the route they are going to take.

Oh and just as another awful story side note: Diaz has now decided to kill Oliver and everyone he cares about. Great, so it looks like he's going to fall further down the hole of generic villain not even good enough to be a villain of the week. Also, Oliver's line in the trailer "As the Green Arrow, I've gone up against some terrible people, but this guys got an army" makes it seem like Diaz is his toughest threat? Wait, are we forgetting about Slade's mirakuru army, Ras Al Ghul's Leauge of Assasins, Damien Darhk's street-full of thugs, and Adrian's island full of Oliver's foes? Are we joking?

    Not even close to realism

The best part of comic book shows is that they make you believe in the impossible not the implausible. This would never happen in any town. Lawlessness and a weird Hispanic man stroking a little girls shoulders?!? Lol no thanks. I'm done

When the focus of the series is its HERO!

Finally a great episode after two episodes 'without the hero' of the show. Not much action but the drama and great performances from the main actors turned this episode great. Stephen was amazing and that come back... Great entrance by the way!

    • Quotes

Oliver Queen: Jean suggested that I just admit I'm the Green Arrow and we go for some sort of jury nullification. But I explained to her that I would like to have a life after being the Green Arrow, but, more importantly, I... I cannot put a target on you and William.

Felicity Smoak: Let me worry about me and William. Let me at least take that off your plate.

Oliver Queen: That's not how wedding vows work.

Felicity Smoak: Well, we didn't exchange vows. But if we did, "exchange" means "goes both ways." So we fight for each other, Oliver. We protect each other. We're gonna save each other.

Oliver Queen: I can't save anyone from behind bars.

Felicity Smoak: We'll get you out, just like we got John out.

Oliver Queen: I could break out of prison, Felicity, but then what, you know? I-I'm not abandoning the two of you. I can't make the two of you fugitives.

Felicity Smoak: We're gonna be okay.

Oliver Queen: John and I have been talking, and, uh, if I go to prison, I need... you and William to go into A.R.G.U.S. protective custody.

Felicity Smoak: Oliver... we're not... we're not there yet.

Oliver Queen: We cannot live in denial, all right? We have to have a plan. I can handle losing my freedom. I cannot handle losing you and William.
