Explaining to the folks at home
I'll explain to the folks at home that this was the best 60 minutes of my life. Norm's Netflix Show just isn't as good.
Thoroughly enjoyed it from top to bottom.
A sparkling exchange between veteran funnyman Norm MacDonald and comedy legend Super Dave Osborne.
One minor problem: the set. It's just too distracting, why are there so many clocks?
It's a generational thing
Comedy is subjective. That's a saying that I just made up. No, it's really objective, but it's also generational. Example? Take three funny guys who are all equally important in the world of show business and comedy, each one in his own right, but all hailing from a different era: Bob "Super Dave" Einstein, Norm MacDonald and - for Ben Savage from "Boy Meets World" had to cancel - Adam Eget. But don't think him as a last-minute substitute or a replacement when representing the youngest generation here. Oh, no - he is good; Jimmy Kimmel's sister-good! If you are watching "Norm MacDonald Live" for the first time, you're in a for a treat: the Tom Green episode is guaranteed to be at least the second best in the series (when viewing chronologically), and did I already mention Fred Stoller? (Robert Blake couldn't make it.) The guests just keep getting better and better, until Russell Brand, but then, again: Billy Bob Thornton, Larry King, Kevin Nealon - and this is just season 1! Brilliant.

Himself - Co-Host: I've been I've been chomping at the bits to ask this one; I've been thinking about it all week. Norm told me to come up with some questions for you, and I've just been dying to know: Where do you get your ideas from?
Bob Einstein: [17 seconds of silence]
