Presented in a way that connects instantly with kids and explores the world around us from a fresh, entertaining, informative, and wonderfully British way. My kids enjoyed it immediately. Pacing is much more balanced than the hyper speed of much children's programming today. Mattie is an engaging host who understands how to present to kids. The show is well filmed, well produced, and educational. 10 stars from my family!

I came here to see if anyone else is annoyed by the presenter and I see that the only other review mentions her.

There is something really really off-putting about that Maddie woman but I can't quite put my finger on it. Every time she's on the screen I want to change the channel. My kids watch CBeebies, so I see this presenter much more often than I'd like.

It's shocking to me that this programme has an almost perfect review score. Almost as shocking as someone deciding to put Maddie in front of the camera rather than behind it.

I'm sure in real life she's a wonderful person, but she just irritates the life out of me.

I guess I'm in the minority but I find the presenter really obnoxious. Her forced, sneer-like fake smile really irritates me. She is constantly using over the top facial expressions to emphasise her words... I can barely make it through an episode.

This is my 4 year son's favourite programme and he has gained great understanding of the world around him from watching this, he now often asks how things are made and what they are made of.

Maddie is excellent, she presents in a way that makes it easy for children to understand and engage with as she makes it very exciting!
