    Still there? Not me.

I was a big fan of the show to begin, but this episode did it for me, and I will not watch the series any more. I am just too weary now of Kevin's egocentric narcissism, Randall's neuroses, and Kate's issues to care any more. I gave up on this episode about half way through and deleted the series from my DVR.

    Kevin's Knee

There's a lot to ponder about this episode. Once again Randall feels the need to explain things and puts his foot in his mouth. After Beth engages with Deja about her hair and tries to connect, old Smiley Randall can't keep his nose out of things and she feels betrayed. It is a very interesting scene--good writing. Back at the set, Kevin is doing his thing in the rescue scene and messes up his knee--the knee that destroyed his football career. We see his utter impatience and childish needs. He can be a hard guy to like at times. We know there will be some harsh realities ahead because of his impetuousness. We end the episode with some news about Kate. Before all this, however, we are made privy to an outbreak of chicken pox that throw the family into a whirl. The kicker is the appearance of Rebecca's racist, bigoted, overbearing, judgmental mother. And Rebecca finally getting a backbone.

    • Goofs
Kevin's injured knee switches from right to left, then right again. When he shows it to Brian Grazer, it's his right knee. When he's being prepped for arthroscopic surgery, the injured knee is shown as the left one and his right knee appears normal. When he's on crutches, his right knee is bandaged.
