This just captures all that it is about losing a loved one. I lost a daughter, yet through this episode I believe the best message I could get was from Kate explaining that its OK for her to have day where she feels awful. Its natural, and this show keeps reminding me how NORMAL I am. Miss you Bellie.

The episode destroyed me. How can this be so sad yet still feel so good. Awesome episode.

What a masterpiece this episode and the whole series is. Such a touching show that just keeps on breaking and putting back together my heart. And this episode did just that. I'm not going to give any more details because I want this review to be spoiler free, but everything about this episode was top tier. And although everyone was flawless, I have to address the next level performance Mandy Moore gave.
Thank you to everyone involved in the show. From now on, Super Sick Monday isn't about your team winning or losing the Superbowl. It's about you watching This is Us.
No spoilers because I want all of you guys to watch this show, I NEED you to watch it!!!
Honestly, I am a crier when it comes to TV shows. But I have never EVER balled my eyes out so much that I've given myself a headache. That's what just happened right here. This episode is absolutely perfect in every way. I've never known a show make you love the characters and stories so much - down to amazing writing, acting, directing, editing, music, absolutely everything. I cannot wait to continue this series, but kinda scared for my tear ducts...

Many things have beed said about TIU, however This episode has everything, it so well written and masterfully developed that nothing else can be asked of it. Cry if you have too, don't restrain yourself. Remember whoever you lost in the past. Laugh if you find a spot were to. This is US is simply the best drama series bar none

- TriviaBecause this episode aired right after Super Bowl LII (February 4, 2018) in which the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots 41-33, which also aired on NBC, this episode included scenes in which the characters were watching the game on television and the television in the scene had actual footage of that game. The editors had only a few hours to add same-day Super Bowl footage to those scenes.
- GoofsWhen Rebecca tells Kevin that she heard the same song on two different radio stations, the first station is 103.4. All FM radio stations in the US end in an odd number.
