    Mostly Bland

While the episode about Sheldon trying to do two jobs didn't have a lot going for it, I did get a kick out of the cowboy bar scenes. That must have been some awesome cold medicine. The business with Bernadette and her worries about going back to work were ordinary.

    Get our beloved characters back!

This show is just getting increasingly weird. Every time I watch it recently, I felt like their names remain the same as well as their faces, but the characteristics and personalities are drastically different in every episode. They have become puppets.

As a TV show that goes for 10 years (and will be 2 years longer), I sincerely hope that the writers could realize the importance of the consistency of characters. I love the show because I love the gang you created. What's the point if they're no longer themselves?

    Another poor episode

The episode felt as it could have have been cut into three. Instead, it's another step down from what was once a brilliant series. Sheldon tries to work on two projects at once, Sheldon forgets an entire afternoon and Bernadette struggles to accept she'll have to go back to work and leave the baby. They're all cut down into small chunks that neither of them is the least bit interesting. The ending is rushed and left me feeling as if I was somehow supposed to have enjoyed it. Once again there are silly lines used just to make the audience laugh, failing to make the viewer on the other side of the screen even chuckle.

The saving grace was Bernadette and Penny being their usual selves but overall, it's time to put this series to bed - permanently.

    • Trivia
In addition to English, Amy and Sheldon apparently have at least rudimentary skills in German, Mandarin, and Navajo. Sheldon and Amy could previously be seen making attempts at speaking German during their first "Fun With Flags" webisode in The Beta Test Initiation (2012). Sheldon was learning to speak Mandarin (poorly) during The Tangerine Factor (2008), and later recognized the tattoo on Penny's buttocks as the Chinese symbol for "soup" in The Adhesive Duck Deficiency (2009), so he may have used his knowledge to translate "Soft Kitty" into the language.
    • Goofs
Sheldon makes an uncharacteristic error when he says, of the platypus, "bird and mammal in the same creature." There is nothing remotely avian about platypuses. They do lay eggs but so do reptiles, and platypuses do have typically reptilian genes in their genomes.
    • Quotes

Amy Farrah Fowler: [talking about Sheldon] How could he not remember a day?

Penny Hofstadter: Well, people who are abducted by aliens lose time. I mean, maybe it happens to the aliens, too.

I think it's time to create a new calendar. In place of Anno Domini, or AD, I'm proposing AC, or After Cubs. My reasoning is simple. Recent events have made it abundantly clear that the fabric of the universe is unraveling. Reality as we know it, the matrix if you will, is dissolving. Looking back, there are two possible starting points for this apocalyptic de-evolution; Brexit, a decision to return to the good old days of European nationalism and centuries of devastating wars, or the result of the 2016 World Series. Being an optimist, I chose the latter.
