Stranger Comes to Town

The storyline is a little disjointed and the subplots are definitely a bit odd, but it's certainly captivating. The dark nature and the cinematography work well and the characters are well cast.

The first episode seems like your typical crime series, but horror and supernatural elements give it potential.

*Spoiler Alert* The murder and hanging of the woman introduces us to the gang of police and crimefighters this series will be based around as well as the new mysterious prosecutor joining their ranks. The main female protagonist is a strong likeable character. Played by Suliane Brahim her character's intriguing reveal at the end of the episode gives her character and the show more to wonder about. I am interested to see what this show will evolve into and so far I would recommend you watch also.
