Just watched S1 episode4. Where did they get this from??? They compare a Mayan ritual mask to a 21st century space helmet!!!! (Looked like a ritual mask you would see in a movie) They show a a Mayan kings burial tomb lid that's engraved and suggest that it's an engraving of him flying a spaceship??? (Looked like a person with a load of crap around him, like maybe his treasures!). They then show this doll figure that is seemingly a representation of an alien!!! (Maybe they watched the movie Quatermass & the Pit at some stage in their life and got confused!!!!)
From 1901-1964 Stonehedge was (re)built using cranes.
For decades the official Stonehenge guidebooks have been full of fascinating facts and figures and theories surrounding the world's greatest prehistoric monument. What the glossy brochures do not mention, however, is the systematic rebuilding of the 4,000 year old stone circle throughout the 20th Century.
This is one of the dark secrets of history archaeologists don't talk about: The day they had the builders in at Stonehenge to recreate the most famous ancient monument in Britain as they thought it ought to look.

Interesting series, however, emphasis must be made on contributors expertise, position. Nick Pope was the lowest civil service grade manager in the UK Ministry of Defence. For 2-3 years he ran the so called UFO Desk with a junior clerk. The role
entailing the receipt of letters etc from members of the public in the UK, who had reported unidentified sightings in British skies. The Desk did basic investigations & any unexplained sightings would likely be referred upwards.
Mr. Pope is/was portrayed in various UFO documentaries such as Ancient Aliens, et al, that he is either a former Director in the (UK) Ministry of Defence (MoD), Defence Expert, Analyst etc. Most of what Mr. Pope comments on is or was already 'open source' and known by other UFO researchers, or interested members of the public. The fact that he worked for the MoD allowed Mr Pope authenticity to realise the subject can be exploited and a second career as a UFO pundit could be created especially in the U.S.A.
The UFO Desk was subsequently closed as resources were required else where.

I like this series and this episode was very good. Just one point of contention. You mentioned that President Truman took time DURING HIS BUSY SCHEDULE for a briefing on UFOs ONCE EVERY THREE MONTHS....AND THAT WAS SIGNIFICANT. Once every three months?? Significant?? Because he had a busy schedule??? GIVE ME A BREAK. How could once every three months be significant just because he had a busy schedule. I'm sure he had to take time to go to the bathroom a lot more than once every three months during his busy schedule.
Where do they find these bozos (both commenters and interviewees)? I would love to ask just one question: Nearly all of the 'evidence' is crap from decades ago, when a camera was not something carried by everyone 24/7, and required a fairly long process to even get ready to shoot. Today nearly every planetary resident capable of standing on two legs is carrying a mobile device that is as close to automatic as ever produced, yet there seems to be a complete lack of any recent photography of aliens, UFOs, or anything else of that ilk. Geez, one would think that someone would get one, even by accident, during the billions of selfies taken every day. I am soooo fed up with the over-dramatized drivel foisted on us, masquerading as 'science' - this isn't the only piece of crap being sent our way by what was once the 'education' channels. I assume that Millennials in general have IQ levels equal to (or even higher) than previous generations, but apparently only put in enough effort to utilize around half of whatever that number is. Steer clear of any show with 'UFO', 'NASA', or the words "mystery', 'revealed', or 'unexplained' in the title and you stand at least a 50/50 chance of not having your intelligence insult very 3 or 4 minutes.
