The only thing that saved the whole episode was a new view of the end of the previous episode, now from Jamie Fraser's point of view. Also worthy of mention is the presentation of the writer and director. The whole episode was almost expected to be about reunion, but I did not imagine it would be so draggy, tiring, and predictable. All the intensity and exuberance of the characters was cast aside. The production disrespected the intelligence of the audience, a cruelty.

It was also clear that there was no concern with the weight of time in the characters, especially in a story based on ... time. For being a fiction does not mean that there is no sensitivity, quite the contrary.

Okay so here Jamie and Claire reunite.

And boy DO THEY REUNITE!!!!!

Also, Fergus is alive also and still working for Jaime, except 20 years passed didn't it? But only what like 10 for Fergus? He still looks like a teen!!!!

Also I didn't really care at all for the place Jaime chose to live. That's just weird. And really not conducive to a man who admittedly tried to not have any relations with any other women. Altho that man, he has powerful seed eh?? One shot and Blamo!!! Daddy Time!!!!

Obviously things really annoyed me about this episode. 2/10

Love the series and loved the episode- just one concern about continuity. Fergus- when we first met him he had to be no younger than 8 years old right? Over 20 years have passed. He should be almost 30 if not older, and yet he's portrayed as someone in his late teens to early 20s?

What should've been the best episode wasn't. A voice over telling us they talked about their lives? I'd like to hear their dinner conversation. The beginning of their sexual reunion was good. Tender and a little goofy.

The first time was enough. It became awkward and forced. More conversation please!

Unfortunately what started as a pulse racing reunion turned into a long drawn out soppy episode which I ended up watching in 4 installments. Far too long, losing the sparkle and grit that Outlander is normally so good at.
