    Disagree on Roger and Brianna

Roger is an extremely likable man. Those that are critical are missing the point. One: is that he is more introspective and sensitive and two: he is from a different time and doesn't belong there! That is the point. He is a fish out of water and he has gone through hell for the woman he loves. I love Jamie and his strength. But he is still a man and this time he was the one who was wrong. Brianna is the way she is because she is her father's daughter! She was not fair to Roger either but still Roger comes back to her. I have read the books and watch the show and I very much like how the characters are portrayed on the show.

Some well handled moment from a strong cast

I could see the delivery of this material being annoying, if it weren't for the pitch perfect deliveries of the cast. Jamie again deals with difficult situations in a strong compassionate and believable way. Can you imagine walking away from your young nephew to leave him with the mowhawk, I couldn't but Sam's delivery of Jamie totally sells it. Murtagh and Jocasta's talk before spoiler moment was layered and honest. plenty of depth to the characters. They bought the Roger storyline home so we can hopefully stop not really liking him and he can get on to something decent with his time. Sophie again delivered some nuanced emotions in her scenes, I'm liking her character more and more as it gets more layers and they don't get her doing stupid things. I've really enjoyed the last season, as I did seasons 2 and 3, This is an entertaining and heart felt time traveling period drama and I feel the show runners really care about the material and the viewers. I'm loving the insight sections at the end of each episode too. Can't wait till season 5. Great work everyone. This is quality television.

    An ending with everything

I LOVED this episode! The number of loose ends they managed to tie up and then still leave us on a cliffhanger wanting more? Genius!

I haven't read all of the books but I am aware that some people who have are displeased with this episode and season as a whole. So, to those people I will say this: stop whinging! They've made adjustments where they needed to and if you would open your mind you would see that what they've achieved is some really beautiful story telling. I'm so glad we have this story and these actors to bring it all to life and it saddens me that there is a small group of people being very loud who could potentially threaten the next two seasons.

    Amazing end

A great paced, yet still action packed episode that beautifully wraps up season 4 while also setting up for a strong start to season 5

    Emotional

This episode was so full of emotions! It's a perfect ending for a perfect season. I don't know how I'll be able to wait out the next.
