Well that was certainly a movie.
I saw "Hundreds of Beavers" first and loved every second of it. Then i stumbled upon this movie in the BluRay section and eagerly bought it.
And what should I say, I got definitely more of the same, which is what I was expecting. However in this movie it just didn't work for me.
The extreme dodge angles and extremely fluid camera movements at times made me dizzy. The plot got kind of lost after the first half.
I still enjoyed the movie, but would recommend newcomers to check out Hundreds of Beavers first, it's IMHO far superior and succeeds in every regard.
I hope the movie makers continue to improve their art and make many, many more movies in the decades to come :-)

Watch it, please!
This movie is really fun to watch. It's shot really well, and it's quite funny. Thanks to Schaffrillas Productions, I have seen a great movie. Hopefully this, movie will finally get popular.
Monty Python's Call of Cthulhu
This is one of those movies you will either love or hate. It is obviously an indie low budget film and it does not try to pretend otherwise. If you like the old Monty Python silliness and you like recent shows like Danger 5 you will love this movie. Think of it as a Call of Cthulhu done by Monty Python and you will know what to expect.
Excellent!
Lake Michigan Monster...a fun, fast, hilarious romp, and proof that having a low budget can be creatively advantageous. The effects--which have an artistry that kind of feels like a cross between Sin City and Spongebob--make the film worth watching just on their own. However, the film also contains many wonderfully witty jokes and sight gags that are fired off so rapidly (and with such skill) that there's no way to take in everything the film has to offer the first time--you'll want to see it again just to catch all the funny little moments and details you may have missed, and, perhaps, to re-experience favorite moments that are stuck in your head! Finally, the film has memorable characters that are performed with such charisma and dedication that you'll wish there existed more films depicting their further adventures. Lake Michigan Monster is a great 78 minutes, and if you run into the opportunity to see it at a film festival (and especially with a crowd), don't hesitate!
Crack open a cold one and salute Captain Seafield!
This film is a mind-bending brew, swirling the devout lunacy of Frank Grow's "Love God" (1997) with the squirming unease of Charles Pinion's "We Await" (1996). Then, it chugs down a shot of German Expressionist horror films with some F. J. Ossang, a swig of David Lynch, a splash of H. P. Lovecraft for that sweet cosmic dread, and a chaser of Monty Python for peak absurdity. That, my fellow cultists and cinephiles, is the glorious concoction that is "Lake Michigan Monster" (2018), and it's brewed with the finest indie spirit
Director Ryland Brickson Cole Tews doesn't just deliver a visually striking film; he serves up a hilarious, often unhinged masterpiece. His turn as Captain Seafield is nothing short of legendary, anchoring this surreal narrative with a bizarre authenticity. The film's absolutely stuffed with unforgettable moments, like the Ghost Army sequence-so perfectly crafted, I'm convinced even old Cthulhu himself would pause his dream-slumber to give it a nod (albeit with a few tentacle-y reservations).
From the silly, weird locations to the perfectly off-kilter music and that final, glorious post-credit sequence, every element conspires to build this film's uniquely absurd atmosphere. If you've got a thirst for truly independent cinema and a penchant for the deliciously bizarre, then "Lake Michigan Monster" is an absolute must-see.
