This movie follows the story of a young black man in a a group of hard partying but well meaning white guys. It's deadly accurate in setting the tone of what that feels like but kinda falls short in the end. Kind of like a more realistic Get Out without the sci-fi twist to it. A good watch if you've ever been in this situation before!
"this year's Get Out" biggest joke I've ever heard. This movie has 0 suspense, 0 horror, 0 thrills. Absolutely Garbage. No other way to put it. Biggest waste of an hour and 25 minutes I've ever seen.
I waited and waited for something to happen. But all I did was waste time of my life. I would rather watch paint dry while being poked in my eye with a toothpick. Is it possible to give no stars? I'm saying no spoilers cause there is nothing to spoil unless you like garbage.
This is a well-made film about something genuinely interesting in real life: the little mystery of why young men so often feel the need to appear ghoulish even when they're basically decent. Maybe it's the same reason people watch horror movies: to play with scary stuff in a safe space.
Unfortunately, while making a faux horror movie out of young men's faux horror might make a nice point, the result here is altogether too much safe space. At almost no point do these guys seem genuinely threatening and the only trace of jeopardy is the risk of alcohol poisoning. Well-written, shot and acted though it all is, the whole thing feels basically pointless.

It's a vibe. It's realistic. No there is no crazy ending but that's not the point. The racism
in the movie is real life. It's uncomfortable but without the crazy ending. I liked it. I liked how it left me like "What the hell?"
