I was actually pretty impressed with this film. Despite obvious budget constraints, I was engaged and entertained. I honestly started to care about what would eventually become of Peter. The main actor, Danny Irrizary manages to carry the film on his own, much to his credit. Based on the budget information for this film? I can't believe they pulled this off as well as they did.
I enjoyed it. I'm sure others will too.
It's no budget. It's poorly acted. It's also made by one guy and a camera/sound operator. The whole movie basically feels like an old episode of the goosebumps television series. It's got some creepy moments and a creepy concept. It feels like what happens if you take a decent short film concept as a horror fan and decide to expand into a full movie. None of this is bad btw. In terms of no budget horror out there, this one at least has some decently creepy scenes if you're watching late at night.
This movie is low budget and it shows. But they made the most of it. This is a simple yet effective parable on living with anxiety. Main character is trapped throughout the movie. His house is inhabited by a monster making his life severely restricted. He is merely getting by instead of living his life. This is a cycle he can't break unless he changes something.

1 star reviews bitter sad people who couldn't graduate a intro to film class.
Original Story idea. Acting was just ok. The main kid did a decent job. The girl next door was more like the girl next next door. The FBI agents uh ok "Better get that window fixed before all the Asbestos gets out. " what? Lol?
Scary story not a scary movie. Good enough Sunday funday movie.
Like Rihanna says "I'm friends with the monster that's under my bed Get along with the voices inside of my head You're tryin' to save me, stop holding your breath And you think I'm crazy, yeah, you think I'm crazy.

Okay the story wasn't too bad. Until the end. It would be easy to just destroy the movie based on the end but I'm not giving spoilers.
I liked it enough to actually pause it to make sure I didn't miss any of it when I went to go jogging several times during the movie.
But this is going to be a letdown for most I think so I can't give it more than a 5.

- TriviaThe film took over 3 years to complete. The film was shot in 17 days and then spent years in post-production, as Ben Rood learned to edit for the film but needed assistance with sound and visual effects. He managed to find a talented post-production crew who agreed to work within Rood's budget because they saw potential in the project, given that they could work on it around their other commitments.
