Overall its a nice movie which conveys higher message of brotherhood across borders even though we've equally suffered wrath of partition era.

Acting by lead actors is good for majority of cast but the last scene of Grandfather's steals the show. It clearly depicts the suffering faced during their childhood.

Moral - Respect your elders' emotions and if possible let them relive their childhood across borders.

It's a beautiful tale of love which doesn't seems the boundaries of the countries.... I love to watch the movie between two people love cannot see the religion, culture, caste nothing they only seen their hearts I love too see the movie and the connection of their values of the culture..they Punjabis are bighearted and straight forward human beings they are so loving and caring.... I really want be a part of my life this kind of thrill and fun in my life someone who do love me in this kind of situation movie is amazing example for youngsters too have fallen love with this kind of passion and sincerity.....

Such a positive feeling this movie gives. A must watch for everyone, theatre gave a standing ovation in the end. Amrinder and Sargun are like SRK-Kajol of punjabi cinema now. This is the kind of movies Punjabi cinema needs and should make. My favourite after Angrej. Watch lahoriye and you will fall in love with it, music was a plus point. Also, the story was very different from what we are normally used to seeing in Punjabi films.

Excellent movie with melodious songs. Script is loosely tight i.e. Some places it is tight and in control while some times it slips. The difference between Lahori Punjabi and Indian Punjabi is a great thought, however a few words were seen spojen by Pakistani characters which in real life are allien to them. Five stars especially for the climax scene of Muslim grandfather visiting his Haveli and friend after long. Amberdeep is an exceptional writer no doubt. Well performed by all actors. Its not a love story of two persons , its a love story of a man and his country. Amazing cast , amazing direction . Must watch.

I was waiting for that type of movie from long time, yet the scenario is from modern world but shows the deep and forgotten truths of Punjab and their people and culture not like nowadays movies. My grandpa was from sialkot but he never went back to see his village but I would love to go there...
