Impressionistic medium-length film by Sganzerla about extraordinary musician Noel Rosa, somewhere in the border between documentary, narrative and experimental movie. It presents continuously Noel's great songs, introducing together some of his remarkable quotes, some period footage, and various pictures and cartoon. H never explains very well who are the people or what is the purpose of each reference, that is, for good or bad, he never cares about any didaticism. It is also interwined with dramatized scenes where a man plays the role of Noel; it would have pleased me more if there were a concern about showing the background as contemporary of the composer, instead of as if he had traveled to the present.
