Brilliant Turkish love story/drama which kept my wife and me spell bound for 2 months of binge watching.
Great acting by a terrific cast. Every character was well fleshed out over the whole series.
Even with subtitles it was still spellbinding!
Thank you to those who created a gave us this special series.
We would love a season two.
This is a serious show that pulls the viewer in. It is funny, engrossing, enigmatic and wonderful. You are a fan of one of the two sisters. I personally fell in love with Toprack. Havva was a little shady and doesn't tell the truth even when it would be the best thing for her to do. She is also beautiful and I can see how any man would fall in love with her. Tempestuous, rebellious and wonderful and loving when she smiles. Attention Netflix: We need to see the final part of this long series. Please pay for thim, if that is the problem, so that all of the audience can see how this show ends. Thank You.
It is an amazing series and the acting was superb however it ended at 110th episode and it has 122. How can Netflix do this. It's also been done with other series and Netflix said there is nothing they can do. They should not accept any series unless it is complete. This is rediculous. Someone needs to be held accountable. Hate to start a Turkish series in the event it doesn't run its course
I've seen several Turkish productions and give them credit for being able to create a story, but this is the worst junk of theirs I've seen. the upper levels of actors do fairly well but are not enough to salvage this saga of lies and deception. one will have difficulty finding 5-6 decent people in this whole thing. the rest are lying, thieving, scheming conniving, manipulative, vitriolic, venomous, vermin. the horrors they perpetrate on each other and then try to justify it in the name of love is pathetic and disgusting. and what's with the turks that people have to constantly cry in almost every scene - men AND women. don't waste your time.
I don't know about anyone else's thoughts. but Turkish tv represents the women of Turkey as evil, lying. whiny, manipulative and constantly crying about everything. People that clearly have nefarious purposes for their actions go unnoticed, while the innocent suffer severe consequences. This is a good story, but it just drags on and on. I'm exhausted and can't finish the series because its so frustrating. What kind of smart person questions someone who is being framed with the ones framing her in the room and then believes the bad guys? Its very unrealistic and is way too long and drawn out. The character of Sultan is ridiculously over played by the actress. I don't recommend this and won't watch anything from Turkey again.
