It is a show that is very gross but, I don't know why, maybe because of the characters sounds or the episodes, I just love this cartoon. I don't think it's the best cartoon ever but I do think it should receive more recognition from the people. It's nice to see that it's getting more attention because of an internet meme. I used to watch these episodes a lot when I was 7 to 10 in Netflix when I had free time after I would do my homework and cleaned my room. Watching this show gives me memories of my childhood, my friends and the city where I was born and where I used to live before moving to a town.
This is a cartoon from South Korea that tells the story of these two well, larva that go on all sorts of wacky adventures. I rarely see all CGI cartoons. They were originally featured on MondoMedia, but I think they're elsewhere now. I admit that the cartoon can get dumb sometimes. We don't need that many fart jokes. It's still quite creative.
We do get a growing cast of characters and even some story arcs! It's hard when an episode is only a few minutes long. Still, there's so many of them that it doesn't feel that way! I always want to look at animation and movies from other countries. I love how the slapstick keeps going on. They accomplish a lot in the short time of their episodes. ***1/2

At 8 and 5, my kids live this show. Mildly entertaining for parents too. Fun little shorts.
Lots of very subtle sexual innuendos, there's an episode where a moquito sucks the blood out of one of the larvae and that's a plot point, it's a gross and bizarre animated atrocity. I'd rather stick my child with Tom and Jerry or another violent cartoon- I'm fine with violent cartoons, but this revolting mess is something you as a parent or guardian have to see for yourself. It's genuinely disturbing the stuff that happens in some of these episodes. The "humor" is sometimes very sick and depraved, like a character's bodily fluids getting sucked from them alive through a straw (a totally separate scenario than the mosquito). Please, PLEASE watch a few episodes before you let your kids watch it.
come on people if you are going to write a review let's have some substance.
This show is like nothing I have seen before, it's completely off the wall and that's what I love about it! The storylines are daft and funny ...let's remember this is aimed at children...and as a mother of two boys, farts, poo and snot rank pretty highly in the funny stakes!
The characters are imaginative and fantastically odd which adds to the whole tone of the series. Fast and action packed, and at times brutal...much like life. But no more brutal than Tom & Jerry or Bugs bunny...
The animation is perfect for the style and tone of this series, quirky and slightly menacing.
This is nothing short of a masterpiece!
