Well worth watching. A reminder of the power of one of the greatest movies of all time. Tears were brought to my eyes.
I feel very much with the association and it is (to me) easy to understand why this is a heartfelt labor of love. The feeling of achievement must be strong, also in regards to the appreciation they got from the original involved.
I hope to visit the place, I knew it existed but I also thought it was in the state before restoration... now it is very much worth the visit.
The only gripe with the documentary is the space they give Hetfield and Metallica, of course as a sponsor he will be interviewed but giving him seemingly more space as an individual than the people that were there, the people conscripted to build the cemetery and the original editors? I don't know.

If your a fan of movies, in particular Westerns, spaghetti Westerns , made by Sergio Leone and scored by Ennio Morricone and in particular "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" this homage to those wonderful movie makers and the fans who helped reclaim from the passage of time the Sad Hill Cemetery which had become overgrown in Almeria in Spain its location of filming over 50 years ago.
On watching the film you can't fail to get enthused by both the movie lovers in the documentary and also the desire to rewatch the Leone Spaghetti westerns.
Bizarrely what it does bring to mind is the love of cinema which is depicted in Guiseppe Tornatore's Cinema Paradiso from 1988 also scored by Morricone.

I have to admit, that since I just casually listen to Metallica and never attended a concert of theirs (my bad of course), I never realized how much they obviously love that Sergio Leone movie. But they are not alone with that love as this documentary shows. There are quite a lot of people out there and they summoned (or gathered) to find one of the films most iconic "set" (which of course was filmed on location in ... Spain).
Very engaging and at times also a behind the scenes to the movie itself, this documentary will give anyone who remotely loves the movie something to cheer on. Now not everyone could be there when they did something monumental. Something that took a lot of time and dedication. But they were rewarded - with this documentary and some choice words after completing the "task". As another reviewer stated - very touching indeed
