Mediocre thriller
I'll watch Isabelle Fuhrman in anything, but this was a disappointment. A mediocre thriller with a plot that's never surprising given the conventions of the genre, and is helped along by implausible events to a climax that had me laughing out loud. The dialogue is obvious, the directing is uninspired, and the acting is actually pretty good.
Fuhrman can't miss, but this movie belongs to Don Johnson, in a subtle role as an ambiguous baddie. Some of the thugs are pretty good too. The boyfriend character is completely unnecessary and his key scene is not even on screen. Overall a not terrible dumb movie with some good performances.

After watching The Surfer, Freaky Tales, The Rule of Jenny Pen, and other 2025 Hollywood movies that I was looking forward to but was disappointed by, I can definitely recommend this one. It's not overwhelming, but I promise you, you're not getting bored, and with the little twist in the end, I'm sure you'll agree that it's a decent watch. I had so many expectations for The Surfer and especially The Rule of Jenny Pen, and as a movie lover, I have no words for how much they disappointed me. Unit 234 surpasses them.
It says my review is too short, and so, as mentioned in the title, I want you to know that regarding the twist in the end, again, although not overwhelming, there's still a touching element which I consider satisfying. And so for me, 1) I wasn't bored, 2) the twist, and 3) a little something to touch your heart.

Really good thriller
The movie was good. It's a classic type of thriller with classic plot twists schemes. It looks kinda cheap, I mean budget of it looks kinda low. I do not demand a high budget to enjoy a movie. I like even trash movies. If it's a good story this is the most important. The story in this thriller is good, so I enjoyed it. Maybe it has some logical flaws at points, but not crucial at all. Some actors didn't act too well. Only the main actors did a good job. And at some points even a really good job. The location of the storage place was unusual enough so it felt fresh to make me curious where it all will go. So if you looking for a high budget movie then you maybe should skip it. Because it doesn't look high budget. If you OK with low budget movies, then you might really enjoy this. If you watched too much thrillers you might guess what will happen approximately. So what. Also English is not my main language.
This movie is terrible.
Unit 234 (2025) is an action thriller movie that I heard and wasn't planning on watching until I found myself being bored and just gave it a watch for the hell of it and it was awful.
Positives for Unit 234 (2025): The best thing about this movie is that it's short at only 86 minutes long.
Negatives for Unit 234 (2025): This movie is a bottom of the barrel action thriller movie with nothing to entertain you. The cast is basically sleepless through theit performances especially Isabelle Fuhrman and are only here to collect a paycheck. The action sequences are really boring. The movie drags its plot for no reason. And finally, the ending was really stupid.
Overall, Unit 234 (2025) is one of the worst movies of 2025 so far and I recommend everyone to skip this movie.

A Masterpiece Lost on the Programmed Mind
If the film crew is reading this please give me a small job pls.
Some films don't just entertain - they challenge, provoke, and elevate. They refuse to spoon-feed the viewer with predictable arcs or overused tropes. Instead, they dare to be different - nuanced in direction, layered in screenplay, breathtaking in cinematography, and delivered by actors who don't just play characters but become them. Yet, these are often the films that go unnoticed by the majority - because, let's be honest, most people have become NPCs in their own movie-watching experience.
Yes, NPCs - non-playable characters - guided not by independent thought or curiosity, but by what's trending, what's been advertised the most, or what everyone else seems to be watching. These are the viewers who need explosions every five minutes, jokes every two, or a romance arc that wraps up neatly in 90 minutes. To them, a film that demands introspection or emotional depth is "boring" or "too slow." But that's not the film's failure - it's the failure of a mind that's been conditioned, not cultivated.
To truly appreciate a film like this, one must first de-program themselves from the noise of mainstream taste. You must want to think, to feel something real, something raw. You must evolve past the dopamine-hit cinema that saturates the market. Because real films don't just pass the time - they shift your perspective.
So, to those who call this film "boring" or "weird" - maybe it's not the film that's lacking. Maybe it's time you upgraded your mind. Turn off autopilot. Watch this film again - but this time, really watch it. You might just catch the genius you missed.
