Belleville Cop

If you love French comedies and especially for those of the brilliant Omar Sy you must watch it .

Belleville Cop is the French version of the classic buddy cop genre. Omar Sy brings charm and energy to his role as Baaba, giving the character a lively presence. However, the film overall is let down by a clichéd script and predictable plot.

The action scenes aren't particularly impressive, and the humor often falls flat. All the promotions and buddy cop vibes had raised my expectations, but the film didn't deliver. Omar Sy's charisma carries it somewhat, yet there were plenty of moments where I found myself bored.

In short: A bit entertaining for buddy cop fans, but you need to keep your expectations low.

Good movie, simple entertaining funny and unpretentious the best recipe for success. Omar is funny and should explore that genre action funny fits him very well. I really enjoyed it, good movie...

The second this movie started I felt like it was trying too hard to be like Rush Hour. The plot is kinda similar but it's not even coming close to Jackie Chan's Movie. Omar is funny and there are a few good lines in this movie but overall it's just missing something. No big laughter just a few chuckles and the action scenes well I don't know what to say.. they were french.
