One Day Like This

While most of this episode is boring the Sarah Drew scenes make it well worth watching. Most of the other characters are boring, in script and their performance as Actors & Actress with their inability to attract an audience.

There are 3 stories in one here. Meredith and her transplant patient is well done and the Owen / Teddy segment is something that promises to deliver what many have been waiting for for some time, but the scenes with Kepner and her patient Eli are simply magnificent. I've remarked before that Grey's can be ridiculous one day and sublime the next but the writing here and the performances of Sarah Drew and Saul Rubinek are sublime and represent the very best that the show has to offer. It's a wise and genuinely moving piece of television.

Absolutely incredible writing with regards to that segment, and an amazing performance by Sarah Drew to carry it. I'm not religious, but even I cried. Her performance brought me to tears. Hope to see Drew in some more shows!
