A cop goes to rescue someone who then calls "b*tch" all the time. The movie is badly dubbed, giving it even a cheaper feel.
One of those things you don't understand how they didn't know how bad it was while they were doing it, or if they did, why they didn't care.
Another example of those "written, produced and directed by the same person" because everyone with a little bit of sense wouldn't go near it.

Okay, if you're planning on sitting down and having this be you're evening movie, you will be furious. From the beginning, when he gets the instructions to respond to the call I thought it had the feeling of a first person horror video game, and that's exactly what it ended up being. The instructions, choices, cheesy dialogue...but as someone who likes those games I was entertained a little. It did have the suspense of navigating through a puzzle to survive, but it definitely ran too long. I was really enjoying it at first, but halfway through, I was thinking that was enough. So it's entertaining (albeit limited), but don't make it your evening feature, just a little something extra.
This movie surprised me, it's not your ordinary low-budget horror. The setup is intriguing, engaging the viewer right away. We are given a short written introduction about a mysterious and elusive corporation of sorts linked to some disappearances. A woman calls 911 from inside one of its facilities and a cop is sent to investigate, finding some gruesome stuff.
The best and most interesting feature of the movie is the technique with which it's shot. We follow the protagonist with the camera loosely hovering over his shoulder the whole time and the whole movie happens in real time. It has a video-game-like quality but it doesn't simply equate the frame to what Connor sees (we occasionally see him on-screen). The result is immediacy and immersion in a manner I had never seen before in a movie. The weird events that happen in the movie fit nicely with the novel style.
Unfortunately, other aspects of the film weren't as good and thus my score. The premise about the corporation is not developed at all and ends up feeling like an excuse for the nightmarish situations the cop goes through. The main problems are that the plot is basically non-existent beyond the first few minutes and that there are many idle moments of silence when nothing happens and there's no suspense. Even at just over an hour long it feels stretched. Some things don't make much sense but don't feel very perplexing in this strange and disorienting movie. The protagonist is quite funny, though he not being very scared weakens the horror. Sound design could have been better and the practical and special effects are cool for the budget.
Overall, the film seems more like a demo of a unique style of filming than a finished work. Still, I want to commend the makers of this special little oddity for their creativity.

What did I just see? Truly, what? It was like being on the freeway here in California, stuck in traffics c not being able to get out. Traffic all of a sudden clears BAM your zipping along at 75 miles an hour with no indication why traffic stalled for 15 minutes. Your left wondering, "What the hell happened?"
A policeman is sent to investigate an homicide, and get trapped in a palace full of possessed people and ghosts. Really innovative, entirely shot with a "over the shoulder camera", resembled me Resident Evil 4 video game. Slow in some part, but the jump scares and the dark and unsettling setting and gore compensate. A solid 7 out of 10
