Dull, slightly depressing uninteresting melodrama about some twenty somethings in Toronto...
The Drew character is a dumb immature unlikeable character that any self respecting woman wouldn't have anything to do with, it was annoying that I spent anytime watching this... maybe it was because the Emma actress was attractive, I don't know but I ended bailing on the movie 3/4 of the way in.
This plays out like some drama club friends got together to make a home movie-soap opera for their film class...
Watch it with a bag of unsalted, unbuttered 4 day old popcorn and a flat soft drink and it will resonate as it should.

This was spectacular movie about love and connection . We all deserve a little love in our lives.
Emma (Laysla De Oliveira) encounters former high school classmate Drew (Giacomo Gianniotti) at a bar. He barely remembers her. They flirt. They confess to be both in committed relationships. Despite that, they heat up their new connection.
It is a slow moving dark romance. I like the complicated nature of these relationships. Neither of them come off looking good. It is messy like in real life. The confrontations are the most compelling scenes whether it's the two fights or the baseball game. The forbidden romance is actually less interesting. The ending is a little anti-climatic after the big fight.

It was with great expectations that I began to watch this movie. I laughed, and cried and my heart broke for all of them!!
It is very reflective of how complicated love can be and how so much of life depends upon timing. I thought all the main actors did a really good job portraying a realistic view of what can happen in relationships along the way. The soundtrack was very good. I had to Shazam a few of the songs to to listen to later. There are a variety of scenes and locations the story seems is very believable. I like the ending. Watch and find out what it is.
