I expected more from Netflix, but over all the series was good.

So i don't know if it's okay to say this , but i kinda got tricked into watching this in the first place , as i thought that actor "John Robinson" is Michael Fassbender !!! lol ,, seriously with that short hair he just looked a twin of Michael .. nevertheless , the guy "Toby Stephens" was really good actor, and he did an amazing job , and that "June Harris" Oh man, I hated her, which only means she was really good at her role , the whole cast did good,, well, of course apart from the kid "Will Robinson" like oh my goodness,, he's over doing it, like just tune it down a notch man !! you're not the lead in here.

Anyway,, the series as i said was good,, it did not rise to the usual Original Netflix level of thrill or even Sci-Fi ,, but still the plot had just a little hint of originality and the writers did a fine job using that ,, in some parts in went slow but again ,, in general it all leveled up.

Final thought, the ending was good, open and somewhat scary .. don't know yet if the series got renewed , but if it did i think they need to work more on the Sci-Fi ,, which in my opinion define the genre of the show,, the other minor parts of the genre, the drama , the action , adventure , it was fine .. and yeah ,, just lose the kid , or someone tell him to tune down the fake unnecessary overly excessive emotions.

Ah, those robots ... Let see their creators !

When it should all be about rescuing from endangered planet, and join Resolute, it appeared that robot demands main role in events, again. For worse, that was pretty much predictable, with really forced climax. And Maureen acted in that attack really like no normal person would do. Yes, going to their World, which is also endangered (Danger, Will Robinson) is good idea. And Robinsons are qualified in that area - dying planets. But I really can not expect that it will be some intellectual Sci-Fi there. Only chance that it will be enjoyable are visuals. Lets hope that team for it will deliver.

    Really enjoy this show

Very entertaining, needs more episodes per season though.

Were You Crying? & Common Courtesy

Best episode of the series and great cliff hanger. Intense with great fight scene. The Morse code thing was hilarious. Some philosophical dialog in this one by Dr Smith & John Robinson. There is this scene with Don and John and trying to cry was great. I won't spoil any of it Enjoy. Don't listen to the low scores this is great reboot. If you want the original which is very good go watch it. They have created a new exciting and character driven series with an incredible new robot and I hope many more seasons of adventures and species & twists to experience with the Robinson's. Here are some of my observations about characters: Maureen - Strong leader great mom and very smart & resourceful John - Regretful for mistakes as dad and husband; strong courageous Will - Smart caring boy with a robot friend & a big heart Judy - medic with some PTSD but rises to the occasion and loves her family and a little stiff, but lets go when encouraged enough; protector Penny - Glue and fun loving smart 'go for it' and enjoys life and her family; witty and good sense of humor Don - Loves Scotch, emotional orphan, desires money, attitude but very loyal despite himself, engineer J2, dry humor Dr Smith - survivalist at all cost, manipulative to extreme, always scheming Robot - friend and protector of Will Robinson

When the Robot says "Friends, Will Robinson" the hatch is open, so the room is in a vacuum, and there would be no air to transmit the sound of the Robot's voice to Will.
    • Quotes

John Robinson: I love Penny 'cause she gives me lip. But she tries harder than anyone will ever give her credit for. I love Will 'cause he sees things that I can't see. Anyway, he's smarter than I am. I love Judy 'cause even though I'm not her biological dad, she's exactly like me. I mean, she's strong, fearless... Ah. Maybe I just wish I was more like her.
