    Hand Print on the Wall

Maureen finally figures out what's going on with planet while the rest are making a beacon so the Resolute can see them on the surface. This episode also has a moment in the cave where Penny writes 'the Robinsons were here' that I really liked. This show has great mix of character development and action and deception of course by Dr Smith (so called) who is up to her no good resulting in havoc at the beacon site. Enjoy.

No hope for the future of humanity!

Too funny - huge predators attack their base, the response is to make a few sharp sticks! lol

Going to their new planet, did they not anticipate at least hunting for food?! Or, do they have enough dehydrated food to last indefinitely? They even have a 3D printer to make futuristic weapons, but instead they prefer to hide behind aluminum picnic tables when attacked. lol

    Action, Plot Advancement, and Manipulation

Parker Posey is just a fabulous and awful Dr. Smith. Her portrayal is spot-on every single episode; she takes everything that that 1960s Dr. Smith was and, with a crime-filled backstory, distills it into a self-indulgent, manipulative, and disturbingly believable villain - which is where the awful comes in. Dr. Smith is simply an awful waste of breathable air, and since every tale of science fiction need something bad to battle, Dr. Smith is our primary consistent evil to be overcome (...or neutralized...).

Maxwell Jenkins is wonderful and heartfelt as young Will Robinson - he is the heart of the series and perhaps his best yet in this episode.

The episode itself, Transmission, takes full advantage of Dr. Smith's villainy, Will Robinson's sweetly complex relationships with the Robot and his Father, adds a good dose of action (sci fi creatures are a welcomed sight) and some solid plot advancement regarding the colonists, their planet, and the Resolute and the end result is satisfying and well played.

This episode is a pleasant surprise.

I still can't understand the hate from the reviews of this episode,if you people don't like this series then why you are still watching ,after four episodes ? I'm sorry i can't give twelve stars for this series , because I REALLY LIKE THIS SERIES,it has great effects ,and great acting.

    The most idiotic character

This "doctor Smith" makes no sense at all. She doesn't have a goal, she doesn't do anything but playing some stupid meaningless tricks. And maybe it'd have a meaning if she was played by a good actress. But talentless hack Parker Posey can't even bat eyelids convincingly. She overacts in every single scene. She can't even stand still like the character she's trying to play! Every gesture, phrase, intonation, eye movement is fake and unrealistic. WHO casted her?!

Hawking radiation is a theoretical type of thermal electromagnetic radiation that astrophysicists predict is emitted by quantum singularities (black holes). The theory was first posited by Professor Stephen Hawking and physicist Jacob Bekenstein who theorized that whenever stellar matter enters the event horizon (the boundary of a singularity where its gravitational pull becomes so strong nothing can escape, not even light) its interaction with the singularity's quantum/gravitational field would produce a unique type of radiation. Figuring out how to detect Hawking radiation would help locate singularities far more accurately than current methods; however as of 2018 no confirmed cases of Hawking radiation have been found out in interstellar space.

At one point, Maureen fills a weather balloon to ascend to 350,000 (above 65 miles) altitude. Although it is filled with helium, the balloon should have expanded its volume (according to Boyle's Law) by many times, but it still shows its original size, even at that altitude. Even if they use some kind of as yet undeveloped textile, even at 25 miles, the balloon would have expanded to a hundred times its original size.
