First time Metroid player here
As someone who never played any of the previous games, I thought I would give this a try because the enthusiasm of the hardcore fans made me want to try it. I did Not regret.
I had a few complaints too.
Graphics and performance were fantastic. No issues here at all.
The big desert area was extremely empty and there was nothing to do besides grinding the green crystals.
No music there or anything worth doing. I wish they at least added some music because of how great it is in this game.
Oh and I really wish Samus spoke so we could know what she thinks. Instead she just stays quiet the whole game and has no personality which is a shame.
When Mario and Link are silent, I'm okay with that because I couldn't care less what they have to say but I really wanted to hear Samus and her thoughts.
Overall, it was a fun game and it made me want to try Prime 1 remaster but I didn't became a fan of the franchise after playing only this one.
I had no expectations so I wasn't disappointed but I wasn't blown away either. I would still recommend it because this game has the "it" factor. Great way to close this incredible year in gaming.
- The art style is beautiful.
- I like the suits and I am in love with the bike.
- The atmosphere is incredible.
- Soundtrack is mesmerising. Loved it!
- Scanning the environment to know more about the world is a great way to tell the story because it kind of gives the control to the player so he can decide how much he wants to know. I read everything I could.
I had a few complaints too.
- Combat was a bit boring for me. Except for boss fights because they were great.
- But not much variety when it comes to fighting lesser enemies.

- TriviaNintendo originally announced the game in 2017, with Kensuke Tanabe returning as producer. However, unlike the previous three installments in the series, the game would not be developed by Retro Studios but at Bandai Namco Studios. Despite regular updates that the game's development was going well, Nintendo announced in 2019 that it had scrapped the early version, as Bandai had been unable to meet Nintendo's standards. Development was subsequently moved back to Retro Studios, to be started over from scratch and aiming for a late 2020 release.
