The pace of the episode makes it clear that this is probably the best season opener of Attack on Titan. The show is starting to resemble Game of Thrones with its political elements and the intrigue involving the military police and the newly introduced character Kenny. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was, and I appreciate that they're incorporating more of the unknown elements from the past two seasons, revealing more about the church people and the military police, who I'm sure are up to something together. I also loved the different ending from previous seasons, where it merges with the credits.
I've read the manga for this episode already but the anime just great.
Almost nothing is chopped off from the manga and all is covered properly. Music and voice is great.
This episode was the perfect start to Aot season 3 and left an excellent cliffhanger, and unlike last season Levi is going to be one of the most prominent characters throughout the 24 episode arc.
This is a very good way to start new season. The action is absolutely perfect and awesome.
I decided to start the third season so that I can get to the second part of this season, which has Hero and Perfect Game. I think that this is definitely one of my least favorite Attack On Titan Episodes, but overall, this was still a great episode in general. I want to see if each season really is better than the last for my personally, so I decided to start this bad boy up. Anyways, my favorite characters in this episode were Levi, Mikasa, and Eren. My favorite things about this episode were the ending, the action, and the antagonists. I can't wait to see the next episode because of the ending.
