I want Family Guy back!
What the F*** happened to Family Guy this season?! Besides a few decent jokes, the third episode of the season was a complete wreck. The characters are empty as hell, they have no personality; the dog and the baby are just a dog and a baby. And what's up with Peter? He became a whole different character, fade and dull. The entire show is now an endless family drama, rather depressing then fun. Why, God, why?? Did Seth MacFarlane have 3 babies, while turning gay and loosing his balls?!
Awesome episode of Family Guy
Great episode of the show. The goats, the insane nanny, and Peter and Lois'out of control marriage was hilarious. I wish the show had a Rick and Morty dipping sauce appeal to the characters because this show is long overdue for change of story lines like the entire series needs to be updated more often. More story arcs like old days but better. We need better episodes like seasons 1-10. Wrtiers come on go back to your roots. You guys have to put more energy and super interesting topics about original character plots and redeeming the show's name. Don't disappoint me. You need to stop sucking at writing crap. Think about your fans and fix Family Guy.
Disappointing
Let me be clear: this is not a terrible episode, but it has a lot of problems.
First, let's start off with the positives. There were a few good jokes here and there. Natalja reading the increasingly depressing storybook to Stewie, the Clevelandcopter, Top Gun with public domain music, the Mickey Mouse joke (Man, these guys really hate Walt Disney don't they?) and the final joke for the ending was actually pretty funny. The action sequence while brief offered some enjoyment.
The problem however is that for all intents and purposes the episode lacks a clear focus. The first act is all about Peter and the goats, which is not quite among the funniest of Peter's escapades and I didn't laugh at any of the puns. The nanny is amusing enough, not hilarious, but amusing. The few scenes she does appear in are fine. However, how she just disappears after saving Stewie was poorly done. Where did she go? Peter and Lois trying to bond with each other has been done a million times, but at first it wasn't all that bad. I liked them gossiping about other couples. But once their trip starts turning sour, it becomes unpleasant to watch. They start yelling at each other, and you're wondering how this will resolve considering there only are 3 minutes left. It's all solved by them looking at their family waving. Really? Could you get any more clichéd?
And about the jokes, while a couple of them worked, there were a lot of awkward and stupid ones this time around. Peter going "wait a minute", Peter exhaling (It wasn't even funny the first time, why would it be funny the second time around?), Lois and Peter talking in slow- motion, the hippo joke...
Overall, it was just mediocre. I loved the first episode of this season, and for what it was I even liked the second episode. But this one felt like it just rushed its way through with no real quality control on the story or jokes. I really hope the next one is better.
Update: I no longer agree with every part of this review. This episode isn't one of the better ones of season 16, but I found more stuff funny this time around.

A Pretty Decent Episode
I was pretty surprised with the overall quality of this episode. The jokes in this episode are well planned and thought out. This episode reminded me of an older episode called, "Stewie and Brian," in the sense that there were no cutaways, mainly focused on two characters, and had a more serious vibe. The secondary plot was my main problem with this episode and is a close rip off of Consuela but did, in the end, have a few good jokes. I hope this marks the beginning of an improving family guy, one where the storylines have some actual thought. ;)
