it was beautiful, frustrating and enlightening all within 43 minutes of airtime.
it gave us answers and want. both ends of the spectrum.
it fed some and it left some malnourished.
but, it doesn't take away from the fact that "network" television, (that is normally mediocre at best), allowed something to shine through -- regardless of its plot-holes and missing answers -- it gives you production value that allows you to transcend galaxies and pretend to wrap your head around the most complex (and benign) questions we're asking ourselves in 2018 (in our pop. cul. society).
<3 and hated it plot-wise, but the production value, acuity, cinematography, visual-effects are a few notches above anything in its league today, regardless of the sometimes laughable script-writing.
*** it's an escape from reality folks, and it does a great job of just that -- don't get too caught up in the plot-holes and you'll been in for a fantastic voyage.

- Quotes
Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: You didn't take it.
Phil Coulson: It didn't feel right. It didn't feel like the way this was supposed to go. I'd have told you on the Zephyr, but you'd have pinned me down and jammed that syringe into my neck right there.
Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: Damn straight.
Phil Coulson: I'm sorry.
Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: You're the only one who can reach Talbot.
Phil Coulson: That's not true. And I think we may be beyond that. If so, you're the only one who can defeat him. Appeal to him as a military man. He took an oath when he enlisted.
Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: I can't believe this. I can't believe this. I can't - I can't do it. I can't go out there, especially not alone.
Phil Coulson: I've given you all the tools you need to handle this. Now you find the strength in your heart to appeal to his good nature, and if you can't, find the strength in your arms to beat his ass senseless. We're out of time. Go.
[Daisy walks down the gangway, she stops]
Daisy 'Skye' Johnson: You take it! Do you hear me? You fly back, and you take it! We fought for you. We fought each other for you.
