The grand opening of a different inn?
Like both of these actors very much. First better than sequel. However, wondering what happened to the original house they inherited and just newly painted green? It appears to be a totally different house beyond a remodel...ha! Oh well, guess were not supposed to notice. I enjoy these two whatever they are starring in.
Enjoyable
Chabert and Elliott together again.
Plot Couple renovate a house together (and yes Hallmark, we did notice that it is a different house) they almost loose the house Brian returns to Wall Street to keep them financially afloat until they can get the Inn up and running successfully. Jenny worries that Brian may be falling for the lure of Wall Street again and may be tiring of their small town/country life.
Different house, different goats, we can deal with that.
Seriously, it is a very good movie and well worth watching Chabert and Elliott always shine together, the perfect movie couple.
My advice: Good family film, watch it together.

Predictable but Plotworthy
I liked this movie a lot, especially the plot. It was different from the previous one because there was less comedy for one thing but there was a bit of character development. It is easy to fall in love but it is challenging to nurture a relationship when there are conflicting interests. Honesty and communication are keys to a healthy relationship. This movie portrays exactly that.
One of the better ones
I liked the first one in the series, it was better than most with an interesting storyline and not the usual sappiness. This one not as much mostly because I did get very tired of Jenny being overly needy in her relationship with Brian, and not being very understanding of Brian trying to keep a roof over their heads. Other than that it was fairly good.
A Hallmark Keeper
Another Hallmark cookie-cutter romance, but this one is surprisingly touching and satisfying. Aside from Ed Asner's gargoyle stand-in role, the characters are somewhat developed and believable. But, in the end, it's Lacey Chabert that steals the show. After this film, I went back and watched Mean Girls, and saw her amazing acting talent on display. Plus, she must be one of the most beautiful stars in Hollywood. Such a shame that Hollywood blacklisted her because of her religious convictions, but good for her staying true to herself and her beliefs. A truly touching story of inner-city types discovering the peace and joy of living in the country where life is thriving all around you. And through that experience find each other. Brennan Elliot seems just to be along for the ride, but Jenny helps him along into true romance. Strong performances by Daniel Cudmore (Tommy) and Heather Doerksen (Casey), but in the end, it's Chabert's film and she shines.

- TriviaBrennan Elliott's and Lacey Chabert's third movie together.
- GoofsIt is established in both this movie and the original of which this is a sequel that the setting is Bucks County, Pennsylvania. When Jenny leaves to meet Brad at the party in New York City, she tells Denise that she is "going to the City." and Denise understands that she's going to New York. Bucks County, Pennsylvania is part of the Greater Philadelphia Metropolitan Area, and contrary to what some people from New York would have you believe, in Bucks County, referring to "the City" can be assumed to refer to Philadelphia.
