This show is really underrated but it is understandable. First off, the sequel has taken very long. Also, the anime has so many generic tropes that makes it predictable especially in the early episodes. The series is like a mind game series that rests on intelligence and brains throughout the first season. It would have been better only if they did not implement some of the usual high-school clichés we've seen in anime so many times. However, the anime managed to turn things around halfway through. It became brilliant, fast paced and mysterious. The cliffhangers left me anticipating for more and the plot became unpredictable. Its such a pity the sequel never came when the ending of the first season was so impressive.
S1 was very good, unique and enjoyable and also really love this series and hopefully waiting for s2✨
Classroom of the Elite is yet another anime where the MC seems to be smarter than most of our world leaders and the student council has more power than a government. As per usual with these kinds of anime they are very over the top but undoubtedly heavily enjoyable despite the ropy and absurd plot.
I really enjoy the show, as I often do with anime I think the fanservice is a tad too much, moreso in Season 1, but it improved in this aspect in the second season.
The show is certainly enjoyable for people who like manipulative characters, a bit like Johan Liebert from Monster or Kategiri Yuuichi from Tomodachi Game, and despite most other characters being rather stagnant and bland or unlikeable and way too evil for a highschooler, this achieves the effect it aims for by making Ayanokoji way more likeable. I enjoy the worldbuilding of the academy and the idea of a "points system" which it introduces makes it a very nice blend between a Drama and Highschool anime. I also like how you may sometimes take a step back from conventional school concepts and see the characters engage in a more real-world activity.
Overall, the show is really fun to watch, I've also heard good things about the Light Novels so they'd probably have my recommendation as well. Overall around 7.8/10 but we'll up it to an 8 for IMDB!

This show focuses on struggles between characters, in different school classes, aspiring to enter the highest class in Japanese society, some classes scheming against each other. I don't want to spoil anything more about that show, but I will say it does focus on struggle between socioeconomic classes, in an allegory of sorts. As such, this gets a rating of 10.
