Appealing Australian story
Everything about this Australian movie pleased me. Wayne Blair is a favourite actor, and all the nonprofessional actors were remarkable, especially the young lead.
The close ups of the emus, goannas, and expansive native bush were so lovingly and almost meditatively done, it elicited wonder and tenderness in my urban heart.
The soundtrack was excellent, subtly enhancing the unfolding of the story line. I felt uplifted and hopeful at the end, and brimming with gratitude for this wonderful country I call home.
I found this film by chance and am so pleased I did. It is my intention now to find other work by this sensitive, talented filmmaker!
