- Richard Roeper - Host: From Julie Newmar to Michelle Pfeiffer, Catwoman has always been sexy, but she's kind of a goofy superhero. I mean, what does she do? Eat mice? Cough up furballs? Ignore you when you call her? I mean, I can tell you this much, though: Halle Berry is probably the first Oscar winner who has put on an S&M leather outfit and purred like a kitty cat. By day, she's a mild-mannered commercial artist named Patience; by night, she's a bit like Paris Hilton on steroids. This is a VERY silly movie, with herky-jerky special effects and a dopey story about an anti-aging cosmetic that turns your face to stone. Sharon Stone, as a matter of fact.

- Richard Roeper - Host: "Catwoman" is directed with FAR too much style, or attempt at style, and almost no substance, by this guy Pitof, who's background is in visual effects. This is barely a film; it's more like a music video slash TV commercial slash computer game. Berry gives one of her worst performances since "B*A*P*S", but it's not her fault. She's saddled with an inconsistent character who is boring by day, and not really menacing by night. Catwoman keeps saying she's half-good, half-bad, but we never see any evil leanings, really; she just puts on a leather and a lip gloss, cracks the whip a few times, and makes some really bad puns. This is a terrible movie.

- Roger Ebert - Host: I mean, it's a good thing that it's PG-13 and a love scene was off-screen, 'cause it probably would've been boring.
- Richard Roeper - Host: Unbelievably so.
- Roger Ebert - Host: Uh, except for the scratch he gets, of course. Uh, I was just amazed that they took a potentially interesting character like Catwoman and did so little with it. This movie is truly bad.
- Richard Roeper - Host: I mean, she doesn't seem tormented for one second about this, and she just goes out and buys some fake fingernails and a mask, and all of a sudden, she's Catwoman.

- Roger Ebert - Host: I missed the scene where she's amazed... that she's become Catwoman!

- Roger Ebert - Host: ...Sits around, and eating tuna fish, and doesn't even seem to think that's...
- Richard Roeper - Host: Yeah.
- Roger Ebert - Host: ...A surprise!
- Richard Roeper - Host: She likes sushi, and she got herself a mask, and now she's a superhero. Hardly. Hardly.
