Singin' in the Lane is a great Simpsons episode with a very well written plot and plenty of very funny moments. The episode revives the old "Pin Pals" from a classic episode way back in the seventh season, I loved what they did with it, they were not just reviving an old classic for fanfare, but it was clear they clearly had a new story to tell that they were intrigued by.
The only complaint I have, as much as I like Lenny, Carl and Barney, I would have preferred if it was a proper revival with the original crew, Homer, Moe, Apu and Mr. Burns. I get that it was likely because they are viewed far more as a gang, but I would have loved to have seen them together again, especially seeing as we rarely see Apu, Moe and Mr. Burns interact with one another.
Funny and memorable. A blast from start to finish, Singin' in the Lane is a simple, fun Simpsons.
Moe revives his old bowling team to bring back some passion from his glory days.

Well I liked it. I would definitely say that it's one of the best episodes of the season. I thought that the jokes were decent (I enjoyed some of the slapstick gags with Moe) and I liked the fact that the episode had an actual story, not wasting time with 5 minutes of opening nonsense or a random subplot just to fill time. I also appreciated the fact that Homer really did not do much here, instead allowing the focus to shift to the buddies bar. I love the idea of an annual sequel (or prequel) of a classic episode, and in this case the continuation of Team Homer was much better than that of Kamp Krusty. To keep innovating and improving, that The Simpsons will never end!
