Quiz with a sense of fun
Great quiz show that doesn't take itself too serious and one that you can easily play along with, without having to have vast general knowledge.
More than Pointless
Less here is more: One presenter, smaller set, fewer but celebrity, indeed top-flight, fun and interesting contestants.
The broad-brush bland-urbanity of charmer Alexander Armstrong somehow always made Richard Osmands interjections awkward - he never engaged with them, merely paused then passed on. It made RO's presence seem rather inexplicable if not actually pointless. Some might even suspect a Gatling-Fenn gambit or two. I recognise one at least.
Here though surprisingly RO blossoms as the sole presenter, the participants too seem to be very comfortable. The format is simpler but more engaging, faster moving and more fun - for participants and viewer.

Best game show this century!
Even my husband loves playing this game - it is such fun and has something for everyone.
We try to never miss a show!
I'm converted.
I'll be honest, I didn't like this show when it first aired, now I never miss it. It's fun, it's different, and it's always entertaining. I love the mix of guests that appear, it's interesting to see how their minds work, and just how they interact with their intelligent host.
Osman is excellent as the host of the show, he's smart and funny, I love his dry humour.
Yes it's high brow, I get why this show would be seen as irritating for some, but appreciate it for being different, for making people think in a totally different way.
I totally love watching it. 8/10.

Generally entertaining, but at times annoying
Like the general format and the question categories are good. But are all UK tv people really that bad at maths and geography? They can't place any city/country on a map beyond the ones bordering the Atlantic. But, some are really good at answer smash, which I fail at miserably. I don't see the host as annoying, I see him an enabler, perhaps.
