    An Honest Review

    This hurt, and it hurt bad.

    The show in the 90s was hysterical and they were trying, they were hungry, they were some of the funniest people on HBO.

    This is, "ego stroking" I believe is what one reviewer called it. It's lame, it's nostalgia without actually trying to be funny again. And that kind of kills memories.

    A 1 hour, 21 min ego stroking exercise.

    If you're expecting any stand up, walk on. This is just 1 hour, 21 mins of everyone congratulating each other. It's like a roast, where everyone gushes about how amazing everyone else is. I think there was one joke.

    Boring

    Old men and women having fun by themselves. If you are family you might find this amusing. Or boring. But for the rest of the audience it is plain boring. Old gags. And overall the amusement of dull old men, and women, remembering the good old times when they meant something.

    Interesting enough, smart guys like Chris Rock just sent a recording to say hi. Here are just the losers.

    Don't expect Def Comedy Jam

    This recording was seemingly put together for all of the legends of Def Comedy Jam to get dressed up and slap each other on the back for times gone by. In terms of pure comedic output, this was poor. If you'd wanted a stand up comedy, go back to the Original DCJ and enjoy. If you want a slightly emotional call back to 80s and 90s black comedy, give it a go. Mind you...nice to Chappelle back on stage in any form.

    A Show Honoring Those That Changed the Game

    It's more of a highlight of those comedians that changed the stand-up game and recognizing the show that out soooo many comics on the scene. You know, "giving people their flowers while they can still smell them". Now, when Dave Chappelle goes on his rant which is CLEARLY off script, IT. IS. PRICELESS!!! He even got Steve Harvey off his PC game.
