Elizabeth Moss is a force to be reckoned with and this episode showcases that once again. Loved her backstory about her daughter.
Sounds about right.

Review needs 150 characters to post. That's more than I can say for this episode.
Another person in Gilead who can't function behind the wheel of a car.
Are they just handing out participation licenses in drivers Ed there?

I promised you!" But will this world be the one shes a part of or will she keep her promise now that she brought Holly into this world and promised not to introduce her child to this tryanny and Gilaed filled America that once pledged alloedgiece and raping was for the men locked away in prisons or wanted on the gritty streets. Not addressed as lord commanders! A world taken over by men with laws to oppress women and blame them for the lack of fertility. Of course this is expressed in the best light possible. Woman can also he found in the colonies where their teeth fall out daily.
But in this episode, June fights and fights showing why women are so strong and persevere! She continues to fight to survive. It's all captured beautifully from above with amazing camera views as she runs treading the snow with a belly about to burst. A red figure surrounded by all white. Breathless but alone! Shes always been alone but she fights and survives. This was Elizabeth Moss powerhouse performance!
The flashbacks are memorizing and sensational and show the powerful tone of the moments. The character develipmemt! In the end she doesnt shoot the Waterfords but instead shoots for help, as she aims the shotgun this time towards the sky maybe perhaps, God? She shoots for help for another survival. Holly. Her promise afterall. Will she keep it or be the oath breaker?

Because that would have provided more excitement than this overwrought episode provided. Jeez. I rooted for the wolf...twice!

- TriviaWhen June hears the "Radio Free America" Resistance broadcast, the voice of the program's host is played by Oprah Winfrey, in an uncredited cameo. In a June 2018 statement to The Hollywood Reporter, show runner Bruce Miller said, "We'd heard Oprah was a fan of the show, and had a story idea, and thought, wouldn't it be wonderful if... So we asked and she said yes, and it was a lovely, easy process. The radio segment she recorded was inspired by the free radio of the Allies from World War II." On June 27, 2018, Laura Bradley of Vanity Fair weighed in on the cameo: "It's unclear whether Winfrey was playing a version of herself on the show, or simply voicing a radio-anchor character. But either way, her smooth intonation is unmistakable."
- GoofsAfter running away from the black wolf into the house, June runs through several divisions. When she walks through a door to the room where she met Hannah in the previous episode, we do not see the doll on the floor where it had been left. Immediately following, we see the doll placed in the chair, where it wasn't in the previous cut either.
- Quotes
Serena Joy Waterford: How could you be so stupid? They hate you... She keeps running away from you.
Fred Waterford: Me? If you'd shown that girl one ounce of kindness, she would never have left.
Serena Joy Waterford: Kindness? You raped her yesterday!
Fred Waterford: That was your idea! I did this to fix your mess!
