Fine to watch, in spare time

The story is fairly well known to anyone born in the 80's or earlier. The factual storyline my have been 'movieized' to show it, but what deadly story isn't.

    Ok?

I don't know. The acting is... fine, I guess? Something about this show just feels so off. Half of the show is shot like a sitcom while the other half looks like a music video. The show uses music in literally every chance it gets and the editing is very strange and distracting. It's fine from a writing perspective, but from a filmmaking perspective, it's not good

    Im suprised

I have doubts but not anymore. Great acting, shannon and whigham were as great they were in "Boardwalk empire". Story opening were interesting and suspenful. I can ' believe gow underratted this show is.

    • Trivia
A storyline thread of the episode is Gary Noesner's effort to negotiate Randy Weaver's peaceful surrender during the Ruby Ridge standoff in 1992. His perception of and anger at how the government handled both Ruby Ridge and Waco was Tim McVeigh's motive for bombing the Alfred Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995.
    • Goofs
The raid took place on an overcast day but in the show it is sunny.
    • Quotes

Gary Noesner: You got a minute?

Peter Hardwick: Sure. What's on your mind?

Gary Noesner: The, uh... Ruby Ridge report? I have some concerns.

      Peter Hardwick: Mm-hmm?

Gary Noesner: It says that Mitch "acted appropriately".

Peter Hardwick: Well, in all fairness, he wasn't trying to kill Vicky Weaver.

Gary Noesner: No, but he did break the rules of engagement in the field. He should be facing an investigation, not getting a pat on the back.

Peter Hardwick: This mess belongs to the ATF. Look, the boys upstairs are worried that if we reprimand Mitch, then we're admitting fault.

Gary Noesner: But we are at fault. He issued a "kill on sight" command and a woman was killed. Look, my dad used to say "You don't earn trust by telling people how good you did. You earn it by saying the hard stuff." Now, our greatest asset as an agency is that people believe in us. But if we lose that trust, we might not ever get it back.
