The voice audio in this film is awful, sometimes it will sound fine then randomly the characters will start sounding muffled, I dont know how something like that happens. The animation is not very good but and the humor is basically non existent. I'll admit this is obviously for very young children, but I cant imagine someone over 3 enjoying this, and even then I think it'd be hard for a 3 year old to like this. It's boring and the animation is bland, I guess it could keep your kids busy for an hour and 30 minutes, but I think kids deserve something a little better than this
I don't know how some audio got through the films quality control (if there even was someone checking for quality which there obviously wasn't) it makes it unbearable to hear normal audio quality then for it to go to a muffled mess that hurts my ears. Even when the audio is clear the dialogue is so stiff and lifeless I wish I couldn't hear it. Don't get me wrong the actors did the best they could have with this horrid script but I don't think anybody really cared if the movie was good or not seeing as audio is just muffled and lines sound as if a dude slammed his head on a keyboard, and tried to make a story based on the gibberish he saw.
I was expecting more from this animation. Very Saturday morning appropriate grade school dialogue, humor & script. Basic premise is that townsfolk don't like cats, dogs, rabbits & fish, and as to why no real explanation. Main plot is the town's sheriffs main activity is chasing them down & locking them up. Second plot element was dog sent into space, but apparently there's a malfunction so he's frozen (dumb; bad science). Next he mysteriously arrives in said town in his capsule 50 years later. Third plot element is our cat acts like a cat toward everyone (dog included), but becomes a better cat later on. Final made-up science plot is capsule contains powerful element (hyper-lithium) that when made into a radiation beam changes things. Animation was slightly better than average with 3-D figures w/natural movement, but downside is the figures lacked detail - very plastic toy like.
This will definitely keep the kids entertained. Decent paced storyline and while not the best quality animation it's more than satisfactory. Take off your serious head for 90 minutes and watch with the kids.
Having seen over 125 films this year I honestly think this must be the worst of them and I love animation films.
The plot and story are flimsy at best and the characters lack virtually any empathy.
I am shocked this was even made and released,I can't see how anyone ever thought this was a good idea.
