This was a great episode that seemed to part from the usual lightness of NCIS. But no worries. Great story telling.

Just because a person can hit baseballs from both sides of the plate does not make them ambi-dextrous!

I hit from both sides with power, but was only right handed. I could not hit a tennis ball with my left hand. Many, many people can hit from either side in baseball. No revelation! My feeling that this case was made into future episodes and looked into strictly on the basis of this final observation is ludicrous. The idea that Hicks was watching them (Gibbs and Jack) observe him batting is a stretch. Writer's prerogative I suppose, to point and establish to viewers that Hick's is a sociopath. Still, swinging a basebal bat from both sides as a pertinent clue is a stretch!
