    Awesome finalle

I dont understand other reviewers on rating it below 5! The entire first 6 episodes build up on the characters, story, tension on Frank visiting Labelle and destroying it revenging Roy's betrayal, how the entire town defends, the gunfight everything is perfect. Even there were a few goose bump moments when you feel like shoot him, shoot him... I dont judge this series w.r.to its correctness over a golden globe but rather on its entertainment value and drama. its 10/10.

Is this what westerns have become?

I enjoy slow westerns but after way way too many hours of long mostly uninteresting back story we get to the shootout. And it was all nonsense. Every shot fired was ridiculous. All actions taken defies belief to the point it took you completely out of any emotion or drama as you just keep saying "really???" Over and over again. Why has the become so absolutely stupid?

    Intense gunfight finale

If you are a fan of Open Range, the drama of series comes to an amazing last stand shootout

    Incredible Ending

Things have been coming together throughout the episodes, but in the final episode, they did an awesome job tying up all the loose strings.

I had tears in my eyes. If I say much more, I will give away the plot and everyone needs to watch the entire series, but particularly this episode.

Like finishing a good book, I will miss this story.

The characters were so well written and the acting was superb. Like so many of the Netflix originals, no expense was spared in the casting or the filming.

Each episode filled in details of the past as well as moving the story for the finale in episode 7.

    Great job Netflix!

    • Quotes

Pastor Moore: [eulogizing over the town's dead] 'Tis a fearful thing, to love what death can touch. A fearful thing to love, to hope, to dream, to be. To be, and, oh, to lose. A thing for fools, this. And a holy thing. A holy thing, to love. For your life has lived in me. Your laugh once lifted me. Your word was gift to me. To remember this brings painful joy. 'Tis a human thing, love. A holy thing. To love what death has touched.
